Truth no longer penetrates the corners of my mind. This maze of wonders, unexplored, has pulled me in and endlessly it winds.
What makes madness undesirable? All men say that happiness is joy, but this lie is insurmountable.
Maybe joy lies in the chaos of the unknown. In the corners of our consciousness, where the light has never shown.

Madness has begun to overtake me, but why should I reject this strange gift that comforts me so strangely?
Is madness simply joy in its purest form? Am I slipping slowly into darkness or will I end up where the sun rays are always warm?

I cannot tell what is real and what is imagined. I just know that this new world of happiness comes without abandon.
A glimpse of truth may occasionally enter my mind, but I am quick to fade off again and gleefully leave it all behind.

Is madness to be resisted like an unrequited lover’s kiss? Or should I embrace this stranger who tenderly persists?
At times the air is filled with wonders unimaginable, but those around me cannot find this fathomable.

I faintly recall a sunny afternoon where much laughter and wine caused my head to swoon.
Is this memory a concoction of my mind’s own making? Or did I run through the vineyards glamorous, my mind unwaking?

I do not wish to fight this so-called madness any longer, I wish to embrace it tenderly like an infant in slumber.
Truth no longer penetrates the corners of my mind. This maze of wonders, unexplored, has pulled me in and endlessly it winds.

I now believe that madness is truly pure joy. How else can I explain this content isolation that I continue to employ?
I look around and choose to see my last glimpse of reality. Then, I will my mind to lose its last shreds of sensibility.
As I embrace this new world of pure joy and wonder, how can madness be undesirable? I continue to ponder.
